In my experience as a pscycholgoist and leadership Coach, I often hear the challenge successful people have in managing their thoughts around mistakes which they have made. The pointers given in this brief Harvard Business Review article are timeless and quite effective. And, to top it off, these “manage your mind around mistakes” methods are founded in social science research.

I frequently look for new ways to schedule my “to do” tasks…good ideas here…I have used the MIT’s method for years and find it rewarding as at least at the end of the day, I can say I accomplished my Most Important Tasks. 101 WAYS TO ENHANCE YOUR LIFE

1. Get up 15 minutes earlier.
2. Prepare for the morning the night before.
3. Avoid tight fitting clothes..
4. Avoid relying on chemical aids of any kind.
5. Set appointments ahead.
6. Don’t rely on your memory…write it down.
7. Practice preventative health maintenance.
8. Make duplicate keys.
9. Say “No” more often.
10. Avoid negative people.
11. Use time wisely . Simplify meal times.
12. Always make copies of important papers.
13. Anticipate your needs.
